Second Lights On! set for downtown

The second annual Lights On! celebration in downtown Bryan is set for Thursday.

The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. with the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at the Children's Museum of the Brazos Valley.

A tree lighting ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. in Gloria Stephan Sale Park at Main and 28th streets. There will be live entertainment, cookies, hot cider and a Christmas carol sing-a-long. Susan Lovelette will perform a special holiday song she wrote for the occasion.

Following the ceremony, guests can have dessert and listen to a performance from Kelsey Taylor at the Forsyth Gallery, 110 N. Main St.

The Brazos Valley Community Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Palace Theater, 105 S. Main St.
