Two people killed in head-on collision

A head-on collision on F.M. 2154 south of Millican killed both drivers and sent two passengers to a hospital Monday morning.

Angela Daniels, 37, of College Station and Pedro Delgado-Castillo, 32, of Benchley, were pronounced dead at the scene just after 8:40 a.m.

According to a Department of Public Safety report, Daniels was driving a 2002 Kia Sport northbound on F.M. 2154 when she drifted to the right, striking the front left end of Castillo's 1994 Ford pickup.

Fernando Hernandez, 20, and Jose Salazar, 21, were passengers in Castillo's vehicle. They were taken to College Station Medical Center for unknown injuries. Hernandez remained hospitalized late Monday in critical condition, while Salazar was listed in fair condition.

All involved were wearing a seatbelt, officials said.

Comment Title:
Per the KBTX story, she drifted right onto the shoulder then overcorrected crossing into the oncoming lane.

Comment Title: Which way did she drift?
If she's heading northbound and drifted RIGHT, she should have gone onto the shoulder, not strike the left front side of an oncoming vehicle!
