HEARNE -- Hours after law enforcement officers cleared the scene where 28-year-old Tederalle Satchell had been shot and killed, neighbors were still talking about the gunshots that rang through the Columbus Village Apartment complex early Sunday.

Officers with the Hearne Police Department were sent to the complex in the 800 block of South Riley Street about 2:32 a.m. because of a group that had assembled in its parking lot, according to a statement released by the department Sunday afternoon.

Whoa, this almost could've been like that cop killing near TAMU that made national news! Don't want Hearne to end up as bad off as that college city.

Or Aggielady, but what's the possibility she'd actually pick an alias like Lakeisha?

Good point Extremely Fast Driver. Fewer food stamps, HUD apartments and tax dollars spent on incarceration. Fewer 'baby daddies" too. I might add

We don't know the full story yet, but it is unacceptable that a dead person's body would not be covered up. I know that area and there are families and little children who live there. The person's family lives there. No matter what the story is, this is not the way the police should operate.

And all along I thought convicted felons that refused to give up their evil ways, after being sent to the pokey, were "merciless" and "awful". Shame on me! Thank you for setting the record straight "agobserver". LOL

Lakeisha, how cold can you be? Shame on you. Your sarcastic rant does nothing but reveal your complete lack of compassion for anybody except yourself. Pitiful that there are awful people like you in the world. you are merciless.

In addition to a two year stint in the pokey, poor little "Tederalle" has been a guest of the Brazos County jail a total of 11 times, according to the Brazos county web page. Looks like this sweet little angel had a fondness for illegal substances. And all along, I thought people on parole had curfews and all sorts of stipulations about where they could go and who they could associate with. Looks like I was wrong. This fine, upstanding, pillar of the community could not ever do any wrong. Thanks to all the fine law enforcement officers that risk their behinds on a daily basis, to protect society from convicted felons, crack heads and other assorted losers.

That poor woman has lost her son. Who knows if anyone will ever know what happened; it sounds like there are already varying versions of the event. What the heck is wrong in Hearne?

    Wow
