A homeless man was arrested in Bryan on Saturday for obstructing traffic after officials said he caused hazardous driving conditions on North Earl Rudder Freeway.

Police responded to reports of a man walking along the side of the road in the 200 block of North Earl Rudder Freeway and found him walking in the inside lane of traffic, causing cars to swerve and hit their brakes, police said. The arrest report said he got on the raised shoulder of the lane and began walking on it "like he was walking on a tight rope."
