An associate professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health has been selected as the recipient of the 2013 Rural Health Academic/Preceptor Award.

James L. Alexander, Ph.D., will be presented the award during the Texas Rural Health Association's Award Luncheon Monday at the Hilton in Fort Worth.
