Texas A&M Athletic Department officials are investigating an April off-campus fight that led to the arrest of two football players Monday, along with their suspension from the team.

Deshazor Dantee Everett, 21, and Floyd Thomas Raven, 20, turned themselves in and were booked at the Brazos County Jail, where they separately spent just under two hours before being released. Raven posted $12,000 bail; Everett, $15,000.

Why was the Manziel story even relevant to this story....thats right, it wasn't. The news media just wants to tarnish Aggie Football even further. A fake ID, so what? Do you know how many under 21 year olds carry those? Move on already...next story please.

Get rid of them now! May the Ags be "thug free." No punk, 2-bit wanna-be so called fuu-ball players are needed on a potential #1 team for 2013. Dump them to open up scholarships for real athletes not thugs! The way one acts off-the-field just might be tellng of how one acts on-the-field. C'mon coaches, you are 4-deep at almost all positions . . . get rid of these thugs now!

Bet 2 game suspension...back in time for AL game. That's the way these things work. JF suspended sentence...probation. Now can we get more news on the Basketball player who is no longer with the team?

""We hope to have Johnny's case resolved very shortly," Reynolds said, adding that both "kids are quality individuals with a bright future.""

What, a bright future at bar brawls? I don't know anything about Everett, but Manziel has a history of this going back to Kerrville. I just hope they both get their lives together, because they have a gift that gives them the potential to play football at a higher level. It remains to be seen if this will happen, but I hope they do change their lives and do something good with them.
