Bryan traffic stop yields drug arrests

Four people are facing felony drug charges after police found marijuana during a traffic stop in Bryan, authorities said.

Bryan police said they stopped the car on Military Drive on Wednesday and discovered six ounces of marijuana and $3,017 in cash.

Oscar Louis Regalado, 20, of Bryan, Adarcus Jamall Smith, 21 of College Station, Jessie Odell Irvin, 24, of Bryan, and Eric Labron Ross, 38, of Bryan, were charged with possession of between four ounces and five pounds of marijuana in a drug-free zone.

Regalado was also charged with failure to yield the right of way and not wearing a seat belt, while Irvin had two warrants from Colorado County and Ross had a Brazos County warrant.

The marijuana charge is a third-degree felony, punishable by up to 20 years in prison and an optional fine up to $10,000.
