Ex-car lot employee charged with theft
Eagle staff report
A Bryan man who bought and sold vehicles for a Bryan used-car lot has been charged with stealing the proceeds from some of those vehicles.
Floyd Crouch's former employer contacted police in March with suspicions that Crouch was pocketing money from vehicle auctions rather than turning it in to the business.
The dealership questioned Crouch, 41, about the missing money, and Crouch turned over $3,169, the cost of two vehicles, according to a police report.
Detectives said Crouch eventually confessed to cashing more than $11,000 in checks from vehicle auctions.
He was charged with four counts of theft of property and was wanted on a warrant for theft out of Smith County, Brazos County Jail officials said.
He was released from jail Thursday after posting $41,000 bail.
Theft of property of that amount is a state jail felony, and each count is punishable by up to two years behind bars.

We should all collect our pennies to help poor miserable Jamie move out of the Brazos Valley If he/she is so afraid to drive into Bryan then possibly he/she should move to somewhere more accepting of him/her. Possibly the moon???? Any donations?

Why is it when someone posts a comment about CS it is considered hateful. But it's ok to post about Bryan and it considered nba. You College Station people need to remember, you put your pants or dress on the same way as anyone else, one leg at a time, and when you parish from the face of the earth, there will be ONE person to judge how awful and hateful people are.

Apparently, you College Station town folk don't know what you're talking about. You have your share of these cars in your town also. Drive down Cooner, Pineridge, Manuel, Richards, Vassar, and even out in Pronghorn. So before you speak or type, THINK about what you say.

This man is a known con-man. He is another reason why I stay out of Bryan. Who knows how many other innocent people and businesses he's stolen from. He should be banished from the city.

If we keep this up Bryan will not even have a used car business in Bryan. We will have to go to Houston since CS does not do, we keep the note weekly payments.
