-- Eagle Staff Report
Bryan police were looking Friday for the driver of a vehicle believed to be responsible for an accident that injured a motorcyclist.
Authorities said the driver of a blue Honda Civic slowed suddenly in an attempt to cross the median in the 200 block of Texas 6 just before 5 p.m. Police said the driver, a woman about 20 years old, tried to use a crossing intended for emergency vehicles, causing four other vehicles to slow suddenly and forcing a 19-year-old motorcyclist off the road to avoid running into them.
The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet and protective clothing, was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said he had road rash.
Authorities said the Honda had the license plate number 791-PSK. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bryan Police Department at 209-5301.
