An airplane pilot was taken to College Station Medical Center after crash-landing near Brenham on Wednesday afternoon.
According to officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Gary Allen Snoe, 51, of Snook, took off from the Brenham airport around 2 p.m. destined for Fredericksburg.
He crashed the small plane in a pasture about two miles from the airport and suffered minor facial injuries, officials said. He was the only person in the plane.
The cause of the crash was not known, but the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
