Vigilant resident credited in arrests

Bryan police are crediting an alert resident for the arrests of two 18-year-old men on vehicle burglary charges.
Authorities said the resident called police Tuesday night when he saw the men driving slowly on Stafford Point.
The resident told officers that one of the men was wearing white gloves and that he had seen the man take something from a vehicle.
When police stopped the men, officers found a large stereo with two speakers, a pair of white gloves and a CD stereo that had been removed from another vehicle, according to the police report.
The items were returned to their owners, and each man was charged with two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine.
The men were released from the Brazos County Jail on Wednesday after each posted $8,000 bail.

Anyone reading the comments can/should realize the posts denigrating Bryan, Hispanics, blacks, etc. (whichever the story) is by one person only, be the user name Rocky Patel, Jamie@CS, NBA, xxx CSTX, etc. Most all College Station folks have much better things to do than engage in this nonsense.
