Election day is Saturday for a proposed Bryan schools property tax increase. The district is asking for a 5-cent increase, which would cost homeowners an additional $50 a year per $100,000 of assessed value and generate about $3.5 million for the general operating budget. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
