The 15th Annual Navasota Blues Fest is Aug. 13-14 at the Grimes County Expo Center in Navasota. The Beer Joint will be hosting a 1950's-themed karaoke party with Firehouse Karaoke on Aug. 13. On Aug. 14, The Beer Joint will host the Pre-Harestock party. Live music can be heard all day and includes: Runnin' Ragged, Selfless Season, Whiskey Boys, Ashley Nicole Monical and Twisted Hearts, Backseat Molly, Green Whiskey, Austin Mayse, Eric Fisher, Nick Verzosa and Red Dvorak. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-12. Harestock kicks off Aug. 15 at 11 a.m. and will include 14 hours of music on three stages with over 30 bands and artists. All proceeds are donated to benefit Texas Tunes 4 Troops, BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) and Twin City Mission -- Youth and Family Services. Events on Aug. 15 also include booths, raffles and a washer tournament.
