BIG EVENTS

The 8th Annual Ziegenbock Music Festival, Ziegfest, is Sept. 5 at Texas World Speedway and will feature a live broadcast of performances to soldiers in Iraq. Entertainment lineup: 2 p.m. -- Sunny Sweeny; 3 p.m. -- The Gourds; 4 p.m. -- The Original Wailers; 5:20 p.m. -- Jack Ingram; 6:35 p.m. -- Kevin Fowler; 7:50 p.m. -- Eli Young Band; 9:10 p.m. -- Blue October; 10:30 p.m. -- All Star Jam with Kevin Fowler, Jack Ingram and Eli Young Band. There will be two performance stages, RV camping, beer and food vendors, and special reserved ticket seating which includes front row secured seating, private restrooms and concessions. Also available is The Beer Garden, where fans can enjoy a shaded atmosphere, local acoustic music between set changes and an Anheuser-Busch selection of draught beers.
