Fun, Safe Science Experiments

Kids Science Experiments and Science Projects are full of fun, are easy and exciting, and will help you answer many of your children’s inquisitive questions.  These safe and simple science experiments projects can be achieved with everyday materials and recycled items found around your house. Help make learning fun and effortless by trying some of these experiments.

Remember to always have fun with your children’s science experiments and don’t worry if their experiments don’t turn out as you would expect – some of the greatest scientific discoveries have been made by mistake (see sidebox).

With the aim of encouraging the budding scientist in your child, maybe you could suggest that your child keeps a notebook throughout his/her science experiments.  This is so he/she can write down the experiments step-by-step and remember how the experiment was conducted, and the results achieved.
Here are some scientific ideas

Shoe box • Popsicle stick
Scissors •  Aluminum foil
Edible snack to heat up

Instructions:
1. Line the inside of the box and the lid with aluminum foil. Tape the foil to the edges to keep it in place.
