Kindermusik of College Station-Bryan began in 1989. Since then it has grown to an enrollment of more than 300 students. It is recognized by Kindermusik Int. as a Maestro program and is in the top 1% of over 5000 studios worldwide. We are very proud to have provided exceptional, age-appropriate music instruction for children ages newborn to seven years in the Brazos Valley for the past 19 years.
All teachers are licensed Kindermusik® educators by Kindermusik Int. and each teacher's primary focus is your child and your child's musical education. At Kindermusik we all believe the late composer Leonard Bernstein’s quote: “Children must receive musical instruction as naturally as food, and with as much pleasure as they derive from a ball game…and this must happen from the beginning of their lives”.
Kindermusik Village: (newborn-20m) This class incorporates the most current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement.
Kindermusik Sign and Sing: (6m.-3 yrs.) Sing and Sing brings sign language into your hearing child’s world as your child learns to communicate with his hands. Through play, songs, and the use of manipulatives in class parents and children are introduced to signing. This research proven program speeds language development in hearing children, eases frustration, and enhances long-term learning abilities.
Kindermusik “Creatures in My Backyard” (18m –3 ½ yrs.) Fun, active, musical learning for your toddler. Children play instruments, learn finger plays, sing along, move with hoops or scarves, listen to the sounds of the world around them, and enjoy music and movement story time. This is a special time that parent and child spend together each week discovering the joys of music.
Kindermusik “Confetti Days” (3½ - 5 yrs.) This class allows your child to use his imagination with music being the springboard! A fun class in which lots of singing and instrument playing takes place. And, you get to come in and join your child for the last 10 minutes of each class and interact through musical activities.
Kindermusik Kamp “Around the World” (4-8 yrs.) A five day, 2 hour camp filled with musical activities. Each day we will travel to a different country and sings songs from that country, dance dances, and create crafts. This is always one of our most popular classes!
