Picket Fence was established 3 years ago with the goal of becoming a Mecca for the “fired arts” industry. We are a traditional studio that pours all of our own stock. We offer thousands of mold-poured greenware and bisque, as well as ceramic clay to sculpt from. We have added the popular glass fusing and precious metal clay so you can create one-of-a-kind jewelry, and more.
Classes are available weekly for any age and ceramics technique. We encourage schools and retirement facilities to browse through our selection, as we offer a 50% discount on bisque for such groups.
Camp Bonkers has been a success with children out of school for the summer. They learn the art of ceramics from beginning to end. In the past year, our award-winning instructors have had the ultimate pleasure of seeing a few of our students bring home TOP AWARDS at area ceramics shows. We are so proud of Mollie, Sandy, Tiffany, Craig, Allison, Tera and Pauline!!! We host parties, scout groups, home-schooled groups as well as individuals who want an afternoon of art with a finished piece to take home that day.
Look for the HUGE expansion of our facilities this year! We are building as fast as we can to keep up with the growing love of ceramics. We are easy to find on Jones Road in Bryan: one mile past Brazos Christian School, and behind the new Bryan Expo Center. Come see us!!
