SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio police say two officers were attacked at a gas station, and one shot a suspect in the arm.
Police say it happened Monday after a man complained to one of the officers that he was being harassed by three young men. They say that when the officer approached the suspects, two of them got out of their vehicle and assaulted him. The officer was trying to restrain one suspect when the other two drove off.
According to police, the pair returned a few minutes later, striking a bystander and the second officer, who had just exited the gas station. During the scuffle, the second officer fired his weapon twice, at one point hitting a suspect in the elbow.
None of the injuries is considered life-threatening.
