The Adidas Football Twitter account released a teaser video stating the Texas A&M football team will get a new uniform for the 2017 season.
While the video, posted at noon on Monday, doesn't give a clear look, a better picture will drop on Aug. 17, the video says.
The uniforms will be a one-time wear and will not be worn for the season opener at UCLA on Sept. 3, according to an athletic department official.
A closer look at the video appears to show a maroon jersey with a black diamond-like pattern.
A one-game specialty uniform has become a norm in Aggieland in recent years. Last season, A&M wore throwback uniforms during the South Carolina game that resembled those worn in 1956. In 2014, the Aggies sported a 1939 throwback, and in 2012 they had an all-black design, among others.
