The Texas A&M equestrian team lost to Georgia 11-8 on Friday in Southeastern Conference action at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.

A&M’s Rebekah Chenelle won over fences; Kyra Bouma, Katie Conklin, Sarah Orsak and Alex Albright in horsemanship; Caroline Dance and Caroline Boyle on the flat; and Kalee McCann in reining.

A&M (4-2, 1-2) will compete at South Dakota State on Jan. 26.

Georgia improved to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in conference.
