The Texas A&M softball team officially announced the addition of Florida State transfer Makinzy Herzog. 

The pitcher/outfielder who graduated from Fort Bend Ridge will be eligible to compete next season and has three years of eligibility remaining. She went 10-2 with a 1.56 ERA in the circle this season as a freshman, while hitting .315 with three home runs, 12 doubles and 26 RBIs.

The Eagle reported Herzog’s transfer Tuesday.
