The Texas A&M women’s swimming and diving team named Sydney Pickrem its swimming MVP and Alais Kalonji its diving MVP, while the Aggie men named Sam Thornton and Benjamin Walker its Danny Green Memorial co-MVPs at the teams’ annual banquet Saturday at the All-American Club at Kyle Field.

A&M’s women also named Mollie Wright its most improved swimmer and Charlye Campbell its most improved diver. Camryn Toney earned the team’s Heart Award in memory of Bob Stallings and the Jody Tanner-Hansen Optimist Award, and Taylor Pike earned the Iron Woman Sports Performance Award. The team named Toney, Raena Eldridge, Sam Siebenaller and Kaley Batten its captains for the 2019-20 seasons.

Mark Theall earned the Aggie men’s most improved and performance of the year awards. Theall set the school record and earned first-team All-America honors in the 500-yard freestyle at the NCAA meet. Mateo Gonzalez earned the men’s Aggie Heart Award, and Luke Stuart earned the Trey Heye Memorial Award.
