BISHOP, Ga. — The Texas A&M equestrian team lost to Georgia 12-8 on Saturday in Southeastern Conference action at the UGA Equestrian Complex.

Caroline Dance and Rebekah Chenelle won over fences for A&M (6-3, 1-3), while Sarah Orsak, Katie Conklin and Alex Albright won in horsemanship. Chenelle also won on the flat, and Kalee McCann and Marissa Harrell won in reining.

Georgia improved to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the SEC.

A&M’s Hunter Seat team will compete at the Rogers Riding Center in Sweet Briar, Virginia, on Friday. The Aggies will host UC Davis at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. Admission is free.
