Former Texas A&M All-America end Myles Garrett missed four games with a high ankle sprain, but had two sacks in his NFL debut with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Garrett sat out the first two plays, but recorded a sack on his first snap, forcing a punt. He added another sack, though he was in for only 19 plays.
Garrett’s sacks weren’t enough as Cleveland lost to the N.Y. Jets 17-14. The Browns have lost 30 of their last 32.
“Sacks don't mean anything if you don't win,” Garrett said. “It's nice to have stats, but you have to get the dub [W] at the end of the day.”
