TOLEDO, Ohio — The Texas A&M women’s golf team, led by senior Courtney Dow, is in seventh place after two rounds Monday at Inverness Club in the Glass City Invitational. The Aggies are at 19-over-par 595 (300-295) to trail Florida by 14 shots. After the Gators are 581 are Michigan State 583, Illinois 585, Michigan 587, Furman 587, Baylor and the Aggies in the 13-team field.

Dow opened with a 3-over-par 75 and got back to even with a bogey-free 69 in the afternoon to be in fifth place at 140. She’s four strokes back of Furman’s Natalie Srinivasan (70-70=140). A&Ms other scores were sophomore Brooke Tyree 76-73=149, tied for 23rd; junior Amber Park 77-75=152, tied for 40th; freshman Blanca Fernandez Garcia-Poggio 75-78=153, tied for 45th; junior Ava Schwienteck 74-80=164, tied for 49th; Elizabeth Calderlli 82-75=157, tied for 62nd; and junior Stephanie Astrup 85-83=168, 77th. Caldarelli and Astrup are playing as individuals.

The final round is Tuesday.
