Texas A&M had a school-record 72 student-athletes make the 2019 winter Southeastern Conference academic honor roll. A&M’s best mark had been 65.

Texas A&M’s Rebekah Chenelle was named the Southeastern Conference’s co-fences rider of the year and made the All-SEC fences and flat teams to lead a group of five Aggies on the All-SEC equestrian squad.

The Texas A&M equestrian team is seeded second for the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Championships at Waco’s Extraco Events Center on April 17-20. The Aggies (10-5) will face seventh-seeded South Carolina in the first round.

The Texas A&M equestrian team will face Baylor at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center in Waco. A&M is 8-4 overall and 2-4 in Southeastern Conference play, while Baylor is 7-3 overall and 3-1 in Big 12 Conference play.

BISHOP, Ga. — The Texas A&M equestrian team lost to Georgia 12-8 on Saturday in Southeastern Conference action at the UGA Equestrian Complex.

The Texas A&M equestrian team will host Fresno State at 11 a.m. Friday at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. A&M (3-0, 1-0 SEC) is coming off a 9-8 victory over South Carolina on Oct. 12, while Fresno State (1-2) lost to Baylor 11-4 in its last match on Sept. 29.

The No. 3 Texas A&M equestrian team defeated No. 4 Oklahoma State, 12-5, Friday in both team’s season opener at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
