The Texas A&M football team slipped four spots to 16th in the Associated Press Top 25 after a 24-10 loss to top-ranked Clemson on Saturday.

The Aggies (1-1) are ranked to 15th by the coaches.

LSU, via a 45-38 victory over Texas, moved up two spots to fourth to give the Southeastern Conference the next three spots after top-ranked Clemson with Alabama second and Georgia third.

The SEC has five teams in the Top 10 with Auburn eighth and Florida ninth.

The Big Ten has seven ranked teams, one more than the SEC with Ohio State sixth and Michigan 10th.
