Former Texas A&M All-American guard Sydney Colson will begin her sixth season in the WNBA on the opening-day roster for the Las Vegas Aces, the preseason title favorite according to a survey of the league’s general managers.

The Aces open their season at home against the Los Angeles Sparks at 7 p.m. Sunday. League games begin Friday.

Colson, who helped the Aggies win the 2011 NCAA Championship, has played in 114 games in her WNBA career with the New York Liberty, Minnesota Lynx and Las Vegas, formerly the San Antonio Stars. She has recorded 402 points, 251 assists, 117 rebounds and 84 steals in her career.
