Former Texas A&M volleyball coach Laurie Corbelli was selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Thursday.

Corbelli is A&M’s all-time winningest volleyball coach with a record of 519-252 from 1993-2017. She also coached at San Francisco and Santa Clara and has an overall career record of 619-358 over 32 years.

Corbelli played at Texas Lutheran, helping the Bulldogs win two AIAW Division II national championships. She also won a silver medal playing for the United States in the 1984 Summer Olympics and coached the U.S. women’s junior team in 2015-16, leading the team to the silver medal at the NORCECA Women’s U20 Continental Championship in 2016.
