FRESNO, Calif. — The Texas A&M equestrian team beat TCU 11-4 and lost to Fresno State 11-9 on Saturday at the Student Horse Center in the Aggies’ first action of the regular season.

Against TCU, A&M’s Hayley Riddle, Ashley Davidson, Kamiah McGrath and Katie Conklin won in horsemanship; Grace Boston and Rhian Murphy won on the flat; Boston, Kaitlyn Lovingfoss and Caroline Dance won over fences; and Lisa Bricker and Darby Gardner won in reining.

Against Fresno State (1-2), A&M’s Davidson, Conklin and Riddle won in horsemanship; Boston and Haley Redifer won over fences; Murphy, Nicole Leonard and Dance won on the flat; and Courtney Yohey won in reining.

A&M will face Georgia at 10 a.m. Oct. 25 at the UGA Equestrian Complex in Athens, Georgia.
