Texas A&M has hired Brandon Hon as assistant track and field coach, head coach Pat Henry announced Friday. 

Hon spent the last six years as an assistant coach at Florida State. He spent the last four as the Seminoles’ sprints, hurdles and relays coach. Before moving to Florida State, Hon spent 13 years as a record-setting student-athlete and an assistant coach. He won the 400-meter hurdles at the 2001 Conference USA meet and qualified for the 2004 and 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials.
