The Texas A&M women’s basketball team will play Oklahoma State on Dec. 7 at Reed Arena as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
A&M hasn’t played the Cowgirls since leaving the Big 12 Conference after the 2011-12 season. OSU leads the series 22-21, but A&M has won 15 of the last 18.
OSU was 14-16 last season, while the Aggies were 26-8, reaching the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.
The other matchups in the Big 12/SEC Challenge will be Georgia at Baylor and Ole Miss at Texas Tech on Dec. 4, Iowa State at Alabama on Dec. 5, Kansas State at Arkansas, LSU at Oklahoma and Auburn at TCU on Dec. 7, and Florida at Kansas, Texas at Tennessee and West Virginia at Mississippi State on Dec. 8.
A&M did not take part in the Big 12/SEC Challenge last season.
A&M is 1-2 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. A&M lost to Texas 67-65 in Little Rock in 2014, beat Oklahoma 74-68 in ’15 in Oklahoma City and lost to West Virginia 70-56 at Reed Arena in ’17.
The conferences have split the 10 games for the last two seasons.
