Texas A&M senior Chandler Phillips made the All-Southeastern Conference’s first team in men’s golf, while Sam Bennett made the SEC’s freshman team and junior Brandon Smith made the conference’s community service team.

Phillips holds school records for tournament victories (seven), lowest single round (63), lowest 54-hole score (19 under) and season stroke average (70.85). Bennett is second on the team with a 71.67 stroke average and finished in the top 20 in the SEC tournament and NCAA regional.

Smith has participated with the student-athlete advisory committee, The Big Event, Aggies Read, Aggies CAN, Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity.

A&M won the NCAA Pullman Regional on Wednesday to advance to the NCAA Championships set for May 24-29 at The Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
