Three-year-old Landon Phillips was the most popular person at Texas A&M Midnight Yell Practice Friday night.

Phillips marched his way into the hearts of the 12th Man gathered in Kyle Field for Midnight Yell, sporting a homemade Fightin' Texas Aggie Band uniform.

In his three short years, Phillips, a College Station native, has developed a huge love for the Aggie band and will pretend to be its youngest member this Halloween, his mother Mindy Phillips said.

The costume was all his idea, Mindy Phillips said.

"He wanted to be a member of the Aggie band for Halloween this year so his Dad and I went ahead and made it early so that he could wear it to his first yell," she said.

Before the band marched into Kyle Field for yell practice, Phillips put on his own show, marching down the track with a toy trumpet. Naturally, cheers erupted for the one-man show.

After his march, Phillips quickly became friends with the Tennessee cheerleading squad that was in attendance Friday night. After yell practice, Philips took countless pictures with Aggie fans before marching his way out of Kyle Field.
