Austgen-Moore Wedding

 Miss Gabriela Michelle Austgen and Mr. Cody Wayne Moore were united in Holy Matrimony on April 2, 2016 at seven in the evening at St. Laurence Catholic Church in Sugar Land.

The ceremony was officiated by Father Drew Wood. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a dinner-dance reception at the Houston Museum of Natural Science in Sugar Land. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the T.E. Harman Center.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Teresa Austgen of Sugar Land, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Teresa Machado and the late Valdir Medrado and David and Muriel Austgen.

The groom is the son of Robert and Connie Moore of College Station, Texas. He is the grandson of Betty Moore and the late Dr. R. W. Moore and Bob and Leona Dowling. Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory lace and tulle gown designed by Pronovias with a fitted bodice and sweetheart neckline along with a fingertip length, lace-edged veil.

Maids of Honor were her sisters, Adriana Austgen and Cristina Austgen. Bridesmaids were Courtney Moore, sister of the groom; and long-time friends, Molly Nick, Rita Connors, and Megan Schlichte. Flower girl was Isabella Medrado, cousin of the bride; ring bearer was Hayden Cooley, cousin of the groom. Best man was Clay Knight, friend of the groom.

Groomsmen were Jonathan Villasana, cousin of the groom, Danny Austgen, brother of the bride, Naren Anand, Ben Boroughs and Chaz Bryant, long-time friends. Connor Austgen and Casey Austgen, cousins of the bride, served as ushers. Readers were Laura DiScenna, Leanna Sherman, cousin of the groom, and Danny Austgen. Gaby attended Clements High School and the University of Notre Dame.

Cody attended A&M Consolidated High School and Texas A&M University. Both Gaby and Cody are third year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Following a honeymoon to the Grand Canyon, and other southwest national parks, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
