Miss Meredith Irene Knapp and Mr. James Christopher Holland were united in marriage on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at seven o'clock in the evening at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas.

Meredith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Larry Knapp of Houston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Julian Pennington, Sr. of Houston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Maedgen Knapp, Sr. of Houston and Calvert, Texas.

Chris is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Jay Holland of Houston. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Joseph Holland, Jr. of Kerrville, Texas, the late Mrs. Ursula Johnson, and the late Mr. William DeMouche.

Meredith is a 2005 graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She currently works for Greenwood King Properties as a Realtor Associate at the Kirby Office in Houston.

Chris is a 2006 graduate of Stratford High School in Houston and a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and was on the Texas A&M Rugby Team. He is currently employed at Gallant Builders as a Project Manager in Houston.

Out-of- town relatives attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Allen Wiese of Calvert, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Averyt Knapp of College Station, Texas.

Following their honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Houston.
