MCGUIRE-LAWRENCE WEDDING

Miss Alexie McGuire and Mr. Chad Lawrence were united in Holy Matrimony at four in the afternoon on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.

The double ring ceremony was officiated by Monsignor John McCaffrey. Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted a festive reception at the Brazos County Expo Center. Guests enjoyed dining and dancing throughout the evening to music provided by Texas Unlimited Band.

The parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner on the eve of the wedding at The Veranda. The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Martica McGuire of Bryan. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Yolanda Oliver and the late Dr. Pedro A. Oliver of Bryan and the late Mr. and Mrs. Mike McGuire of Bryan.

The groom is the son of Choppie and Danni White of Bryan and Vincent and Alice Lawrence of Bryan. He is the grandson of Mrs. Sherry Robinson and the late Mr. Hartwell Harvey Robinson of Waco and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lawrence of Waller.

Serving their sister as Matrons of Honor were Courtnie Willis and Britnie Halfman, and sister-in-law, Candy McGuire. Maid of Honor was her precious friend, Amanda Blum. Bridesmaids were best friend and cousin of the bride, Patty Gorzycki, wonderful friends Emily Tekell and Amanda Kleiber, and sisters of the groom Halle Lawrence and Chloe Lawrence. The bridesmaids wore champagne sequined gowns that complimented the glamorous reception. Flower girls were nieces of the bride, Kinsley Halfmann and Brynlee Willis and niece of the groom, Kyleigh Lawrence.

Chance Lawrence, brother of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were childhood friends of the groom, Ross Eller, Colton McCulloch, Mark Scarmardo, and Cameron Lindsay, brothers of the groom, Cody White, Clay White, and Zachary Lawrence, and brother of the bride, Landon McGuire. Ring bearers were nephews of the bride, Brody Halfmann, Bryson McGuire, and Gavin Willis. Ushers for the wedding included Garret Cammack, Taylor Krenek, and Sam Scholl, all friends of the groom, and brothers-in-law of the bride, Shane Halfmann and Clint Willis.

The beautiful music for the ceremony was provided by the bride's aunt, Olgui Urso and organist Henry Berger. Scripture readers were Marie Farrar and Lisa Hough, cousins of the bride. Altar servers were Kyle Willis, Connor McGuire, Logan Willis, and Lane McGuire, all nephews of the bride. House party members included Lindsay Elias, Julie Elkins, Marie Farrar, Lisa Hough, Yolin Oliver-Magee, Kylie Urso, Markie Urso, and Melissa Urso.

Eucharistic gifts were brought up by Shelley Batten and Marci Andersson. Eucharistic ministers were aunt of the bride, Lourdes Gorzycki and family friends of the bride, Pat Batten and Becky Prihoda.

Alexie is a 2009 graduate of Bryan High School and a 2013 graduate of the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with a degree in Marketing. She is employed as a medical billing specialist by MarWay Business Services, Inc. in Bryan.

Chad is a 2009 graduate of Bryan High School and a 2016 graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development. He is self-employed with Chad's Mobile Wash in Bryan.

After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, Alexie and Chad reside in College Station. Heartfelt thanks to all of our family and friends for helping make this joyous celebration a memory that Alexie and Chad will treasure for a lifetime.
