Miss Hannah West and Mr. Jon Hallmark were united in marriage on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at half past five in the evening in the breezeway of Prospect House in Dripping Springs, Texas.
Music for the ceremony was provided by James Miller and Emily Hopper. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Mandola's Restaurant in Austin, Texas.
The double ring ceremony was officiated by the bride's father, Gaines West. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the main ballroom at Prospect House. Contigo events catered the dinner and Spacecraft Entertainment provided the music.
The bride is the daughter of Susan and Gaines West of College Station, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Shellenberger of Waco, Texas. The groom is the son of Melinda and Tom Hallmark of Franklin, Texas. He is the grandson of Melinda Merritt of Snyder, Texas.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown designed by Jenny Packham. Serving as attendants were Hannah's sisters, Shelley Stribling and Whitney Tevis.
Her junior bridesmaids were Madeline and Anna Stribling, and Brooklyn Tevis, nieces of the bride; Lauren Hallmark, niece of the groom, and Katharyn Koonce, cousin of the groom. Attendants for Jon were Matthew Hallmark, brother of the groom, and Aaron Collins, friend of the groom. Hannah is a 2005 graduate of Texas Tech University, in Lubbock, Texas. She was a member of Tri Delta sorority.
She received her Masters of Arts in Spanish from Middlebury College, in Vermont in 2006. She currently teaches seventh grade Spanish in Austin, Texas.
Jon graduated from Texas A & M in December 2001, with a degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism. He currently teaches ninth grade Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, in Austin, Texas.
Following a honeymoon to Nicaragua, the couple will reside in Austin, Texas.
