Miss Lindsey Elaine O'Neal and Mr. Carson Bates Lindley were united in marriage on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at six o'clock in the evening at First United Methodist Church in Bryan, Texas.
The double ring ceremony was officiated by The Reverend Rick Sitton. Music for the ceremony was provided by soloist, Allison Loden, friend of the bride and groom, of San Marcos and organist, Angela Corbett of Bryan. The Scripture was read by Jenna Chumbley, cousin of the groom, of St. Louis, Missouri.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David O'Neal of Bryan and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry O'Neal of Bryan. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lindley of Corpus Christi and grandson of Mr. R. Donald Bates of Jacksonville, Illinois.
A memory candle was lit in remembrance of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lovan, maternal grandparents of the bride, of Bryan, the late Mrs. Frances Bates, maternal grandmother of the groom, of Jacksonville, Illinois and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Lindley, paternal grandparents of the groom, of Mexia.
After the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a formal reception which included a cocktail hour, dinner and dance in the Bluebonnet Ballroom at the College Station Hilton. Music was provided by DJ Zac Riggins, friend of the bride and groom, of Denton.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted the Rehearsal Dinner for the wedding party and family at Downtown 202 in historic downtown Bryan. Earlier in the day, the bride was honored with a luncheon at La Riviera.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, Lindsey wore an exquisite champagne and ivory Allure ball gown featuring a sheer-illusion neckline with a sleeveless bodice encrusted with Swarovski crystals and lace with a crystal belt accenting the waistline. The sheer-illusion with crystals continued to an elegant back, while a gathered tulle skirt and chapel length train edged with lace completed the gown.
Lindsey's elegant hand tied bouquet of champagne roses was entwined with the Bride's Bible that her mother carried on her wedding day along with a handkerchief made from Lindsey's baptism bonnet and a monogrammed handkerchief that belonged to her Maternal Grandmother.
In memory of his paternal grandfather, Carson carried the Army dog tags that were worn by him during his military service. Serving the bride as Maid of Honor was Mackenzie O'Neal, sister of the bride, of San Marcos.
Matrons of Honor were Erin Guidroz, sister of the bride, of Orange and Sarah O'Neal, sister in law of the bride, of Tomball. Serving as Bridesmaids were Stacy Donalson, friend of the bride, of Fort Worth, college friends of the bride, Meghan Johnson of Pasadena, Kyndall Fuller of Dallas, Jessika Palmer of Dallas, Kelsey Sellars of Portland, Kimberly Przylucki of Fort Worth, high school friends of the bride, Macey Murray of Houston, Courtney Rothe of Dallas, and lifelong friend of the bride, Callie Alford of College Station. Serving as Junior Bridesmaid was Emma Humplik, niece of the bride, of Orange and Flower Girls were Grace and Josie O'Neal, nieces of the bride, of Tomball.
Serving the groom as Best Man was Patrick Ford, college friend of the groom, of Katy. Groomsmen were brothers of the bride, Austin O'Neal, of Austin and Dustin O'Neal, of Tomball, college friends of the groom, Ben Bernard, of Fort Worth, Brent Heppler, of Kingwood, James Keith, of Houston, JC Lloyd, of Alvin, Tyler Stone, of North Richland Hills, high school friend of the groom Hank Harrison, of Corpus Christi and lifelong friends of the groom, Chris Dobbs, of Plano and Carrington Jones, of San Antonio. Serving as Junior Groomsman was Jackson Humplik and Ring Bearers were Colt and Beau Guidroz, nephews of the bride, of Orange. Ushers included Brandon Lovan of Avon, Colorado and Garrett Lovan of College Station, cousins of the bride, Sam Scoggins of Fort Worth and Corbin Wyatt of Albuquerque, New Mexico, friends of the groom, and Jason Guidroz, brother in law of the bride, of Orange.
The Bride's House Party included cousins of the bride, Lori Bell and Allison Mitcham of Nederland, Caitlyn Gabbert and Adriane LaCaze of Kansas City, Missouri, Erin VanCleave of Little Rock, Arkansas, Melissa Lovan of Avon, Colorado and nieces of the bride, Bailey Guidroz and Jeslyn Guidroz of Bridge City.
Lindsey is a 2008 graduate of Bryan High School and a 2012 graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos where she was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority and the Strutters. She is a Dance Teacher and Dance Team Director at Chisholm Trail High School in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.
Carson graduated from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi in 2008 and Texas State University in San Marcos in 2013 where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He is an Engineering Work Order Coordinator for General Motors Arlington.
Following their honeymoon to Nassau, Bahamas, Lindsey and Carson have made their home in Fort Worth, Texas.
