Bryan firefighters receive promotions

Ten Bryan firefighters recently received promotions.

Michael Leo, who has been with the department for 19 years, has been named assistant chief of EMS.

Terry Barnett and Nick Pappas were named battalion chiefs. Barnett has worked in Bryan for 24 years, and Pappas has served for 23 years.

Todd Mack and Cory Matthews have been promoted to lieutenants, while Josh Putz, Jimmy Zanek, Joe Ondrasek, Jeremy Riley and Gerald Burnett have been named apparatus operators.
