Abigail Kendall of Bryan graduated Dec. 20 from Trinity University with a master’s degree in health-care administration.


Local students recently were named to the dean’s list at Baylor University. They include Jennifer Variste and Jillian Marie Striker, both of College Station; and Lauren Denise Landrum and Violet Williams, both of Bryan.


Katherine Mary Reinhart of College Station recently was named to the dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.


Several College Station residents recently were named to honors lists at Texas Tech University.

Making the President’s List were Morgan Christine Green, a sophomore in pre-medicine; Helen Erin Sprott, a senior in advertising; and Hannah Brooke West, a senior in Spanish. Making the Dean’s List were Jacqueline Marie Jeter, a freshman in multidisciplinary studies; Abby Bell Lane, a freshman in apparel design and manufacturing; Kelley Michelle Turley, a freshman in apparel design and manufacturing; and Sarah Ann Ward, a freshman in pre-nursing.


Air Force Airman Jacqueline U. Garcia has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

Garcia is the daughter of Nelda and Johnny Rodriguez of Bryan. She is a 2003 graduate of Caldwell High School.


Several Bryan residents were named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for the fall 2003 semester at Texas State Technical College in Waco.

They include Dioni Verango, a chemical technology student; Reardon Thompson, an auto collision and management technology student; James Rosales, an aircraft pilot training technology student; and Baltazar Hernandez, an electrical/computerized control systems and robotics student.

The Dean’s Honor Roll recognizes students who earn a grade-point average of 3.5 to 3.99.
