ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Buffalo Bills linebackers coach Johnny Holland has left the team to become linebackers coach for the Houston Texans.

Holland, a two-time All-American at Texas A&M, was hired by Buffalo only this past week by new Bills head coach Dick Jauron. He had spent the last three seasons in Detroit and was the Lions linebackers coach in 2005.

"It's an opportunity for me to go back home and be close to my family," Holland told The Buffalo News.

Holland, 40, is from Houston, and his parents, brothers and sisters still live there.
