The USS Rowan (DD-405/DD-782) will hold its annual reunion Nov. 10-14 in San Antonio.

“Texian Days” will be from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site in Anderson.
Admission is $1 for Texas State Parks Pass members, $4 for adults and $2.50 for children age 12 and under.
Blacksmiths, spinners, weavers and leatherworkers will display their wares while musicians play and cowboy poets perform. Stagecoach rides also will be available beginning at 11 a.m.
The Brenham Heritage Festival is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 16 at Fireman’s Park in Brenham.
Admission is free.
Activities will include historical re-enactments, music, food, crafts and more from the different cultures that developed into modern-day Washington County.
Tatting, needlework, crocheting, spinning, weaving and dyeing techniques will be taught during “A Stitch in Time” Oct. 16-17 at Barrington Living History Farm at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site in Washington.
The event also will feature woodworking demonstrations.
Hours are from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students.
The Space City T’s, the Houston chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America, will hold its 27th annual Texas T Party Oct. 13-16 in Brenham.
The group will tour various locations in Washington County during the four-day event.
