The award recognizes Breeding’s courage and bravery June 20 while serving as a military police gunner in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II, Army officials said.
Breeding’s efforts to engage enemy forces conducting a coordinated attack greatly contributed to the successful evacuation of critically wounded soldiers from the battlefield, officials said.
He is married to Bryan High School graduate Canita Lee-Breeding and is the son-in-law of Alan and Jan Lee.
