Raising Cane's, a restaurant specializing in fried chicken fingers, is scheduled to open in College Station by the end of March.

The restaurant location at 1045 Texas Avenue is the site of the original Wings 'N' More, which closed and relocated in 2004, as well as the former location of Kerri's Stacked Enchiladas, which closed last year. The building was razed earlier this year to make room for the new construction of Raising Cane's.

The Louisiana-based chain has 29 locations in Louisiana, one each in Colorado, Georgia, Nevada, Ohio and Oklahoma, three in Mississippi and two others in Texas.
