KILLEEN - The A&M Consolidated boys basketball team led in the fourth quarter, but a late scoring drought by the Tigers allowed Killeen Shoemaker to rally for a 65-54 win Friday night.

Consol (11-17, 4-7) had a four-point lead midway through the fourth quarter, but the Tigers scored just four points in the last three minutes.

"That was a killer," Consol coach Rusty Segler said. "The guys played hard just like they've been doing. The shots just weren't falling at the end. We were tied with about three minutes left, and then we just stopped scoring."

Detron Lewis scored 22 points for the Tigers, while Sean Jones had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Johnathan Caldwell grabbed 10 rebounds before injuring his shoulder midway through the third quarter and missing the rest of the game.

Shoemaker (22-8, 7-4) was led by Jamar Beasley with 14 points.
