There's no way Texans owner Bob McNair can miss the message — Aggies want Johnny Manziel to play ball in Houston.

Billboards are going up around Houston that say “Keep Johnny football in Texas!” and refer to the website DraftJohnnyManziel.com. Eight have gone up so far, and you guessed it, Ags, there will be 12 total.

The billboards are the work of A&M System Regent Tony Buzbee, a Houston lawyer who lives next door to McNair.

The billboards, which received national attention Monday from ESPN and NFL.com, are part of an ongoing lobby by Buzbee. DraftJohnnyManziel.com and a Facebook page, which both launched earlier this month, feature Photoshopped images of Manziel in a Texans jersey. The website, which is not affiliated with Manziel, has advice for McNair, “Don't blow it Bob -- Draft Johnny!” The Facebook page has more than 1,700 likes.
