The Blinn College Alumni and Friends Association will induct four people into its Hall of Honor during a Sept. 20 luncheon at its Brenham Campus Student Center.
Alumna Jeane Block Spencer, business leader Randy French, former Blinn College professor and trustee Charles Heller and community leader and Blinn alumna Diane Pieper will be inducted.
The Hall of Honor recognizes distinguished alumni, business leaders and those who have made an impact in their communities or professions.

Spencer, a retired teacher, was born in Brenham and was the first African American to be accepted into Blinn’s academic program.
French, a graduate of Bryan High School and Sam Houston State University, founded Stylecraft Builders in 1986.
Heller joined the Blinn faculty as a chemistry instructor in 1972 and later was named head of the natural sciences department. He served on the Blinn Board of Trustees from 1984 to 1992 before returning to the classroom as a chemistry professor. He retired from Blinn in 2014.
Pieper, a Brenham businesswoman, is one of five generations of family to attend Blinn College. She graduated from Blinn in 1967 with a business degree. She is a life member of the Blinn College Alumni and Friends Association.
