Blinn College had a pinning ceremony Aug. 3 at its Bryan campus for 19 graduates of its paramedic program.

Each graduate completed 45 credit hours to earn their paramedic technology certificate or Emergency Medical Services Associate in Applied Science degree, which qualifies them for entry-level paramedic positions and can be applied toward a bachelor’s degree.

Members of this year’s graduating class are Matthew N. Abbott, Tanner L. Aebersold, Bodhi L. Brown, Ben C. Collie, Miranda C. Cordts, Auston F. Douglas, Joshua J. Iselt, Kaitlin T. Kucera, Tommy C. Longoria, Tiffany J. Miller, Ryan H. Miller, Dillon R. Murphy, Kyle W. Parrish, Katrina L. Rader, Brianna Rojas, Nicole M. Stange, Baldemar Villarreal, Makayla L. Wawarofsky and Conner N. Zeller.

Class valedictorian and Blinn EMS Student Association President Tanner Aebersold plans to attend the TEEX Fire Academy in the fall as part of Blinn’s fire science degree path.
