Three area high school students recently returned from a tour of Washington, D.C., as part of BTU’s Government in Action Youth Tour program.

Samuel Seago, Keeley Loyd and Dylan Benson spent 10 days visiting the sites and learning about the government. Stops included Arlington National Cemetery, the Smithsonian Institution, museums, the National Mall, George Washington’s Mount Vernon home and a cruise along the Potomac River. The three also visited with U.S. Rep. Bill Flores of Bryan.

The annual tour included nearly 2,000 students from around the nation.

Seago is a senior at St. Joseph Catholic School; Loyd is a junior at A&M Consolidated High School; and Benson is a senior at Bryan High School.
